I don't have a lot of time this morning - gotta go and get ready for work. BUT...did want to say that I have found out in the last couple of days that I am definitely an emotional eater! We went to Baltimore on Sunday, to try to do something as a family. Had a pretty decent day (it started off with Golden Corral, which wasn't very good, and ended with Five Guys, so you knew it was going to be good) walking all over the Inner Harbor. On our way home, we realized that we needed to stop at Walmart in order to get paper for the girls to take to school. Came out, and the car wouldn't start. Had to call a friend to come pick us up. Went home just feeling really bummed, because I had really wanted it to be a good day, and it hadn't ended that way. I wasn't hungry AT ALL, but really felt like I wanted to be eating. Had a fever of 101.8, so was trying to justify my feelings of eating by saying that if I ate, the fever would be gone.
Monday was spent trying to get the tow guy out. He came out, and told us it was just the battery. We drove it to Pep Boys only to have me turn it off. They agreed to put a new battery in it, so that was good. We came home and Sean decided he was going to make lunch. Just when I was about to agree to two sandwhiches, I realized that I really didn't need them, because I had already had a McDonald's breakfast. Went to bed to try to get rid of the fever. Slept all day. What was the first thing I did when I woke up? Headed for the chocolate. SIGH. I really am trying to be good, but it's really hard! Maybe when life calms down a little bit, I won't feel like I want to eat everything that isn't nailed down? We'll see!!!
